If the laser is flashing/stops working after you have put in a fresh pair of batteries, most likely the battery contacts have been compressed. Here is a simple solution to fix the problem.

Step by step guide:

1. Unscrew the battery cover and remove the batteries.

2. Locate the two copper battery contacts/tabs inside the laser battery

compartment.

3. Using a paperclip, gently pry the battery contact outward.

4. When the battery contact is slightly repositioned, it will look like this.

5. Repeat step 4 on the other battery contact.

6. Install batteries back into the device and replace the battery cover.

[Note: When installing the batteries, you should feel some resistance when

pressing them into the device. They should not drop into the device freely.]
