To ensure proper functionality and device management, please verify which version of the X2 camera you have received. Each version requires its corresponding Camera Manager application.

This guide also includes troubleshooting steps for docking station connections and Camera Manager recognition issues to ensure seamless operation of your device.

Identifying Your X2 Camera Version

(Old) INTRENSIC X2 Camera

  • Front Record Button: Old Intrensic logo

  • Required Camera Manager Version: V1.0.8.4

(New) WRAP INTRENSIC X2 Camera

  • Front Record Button: New Wrap Intrensic branded logo

  • Required Camera Manager Version: V1.0.8.6

Why This Matters

Troubleshooting common issues can ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of potential device challenges.

Using the correct Camera Manager version ensures:

  • Quick resolution of connection and recognition issues

  • Successful settings updates

  • Proper device configuration / API

  • Ensure performance and stability

  • Minimized downtime during operations due to prompt issue resolution

Docking Station Troubleshooting

If your docking station's ports are not powering on or are failing to download footage from body cameras, follow these steps:

  1. Restart the Connected PC: Sometimes restarting the PC that the docking station is connected to can resolve the issue.

  2. Power Cycle the Docking Station: To power cycle:

    • Remove all cameras from the docking station.

    • Unplug the docking station from the power source.

    • Wait at least 5 seconds.

    • Plug the docking station back in. These actions often restore the power indicators (lights) on the docking station and allow the ports to resume normal operation for downloading footage.

Resolving Camera Recognition Issues in Camera Manager

If your body-worn camera is not recognized by the Camera Manager software when connected via dock or USB, follow these steps:

  1. Perform a Default Reset on the Camera:

    • Access the camera’s settings via the back LED screen.

    • Scroll down and select the option for "Default settings."

  2. Verify the Installed Camera Manager Software Version:

    • Ensure you are using the correct Camera Manager version based on your camera model:

      • For cameras with the Intrensic logo on the front record button, use Camera Manager V1.0.8.4.

      • For cameras with the WRAP logo on the front record button, ensure Camera Manager V1.0.8.6 is installed. Using the appropriate software version and performing a full device reset will typically resolve recognition issues across different docks and computers.
